QUALITY ASSURANCE
The quality assurance group at Michigan Metal Coatings prepares and analyzes new chemicals as well as chemicals being used in production, collects samples from production runs for various analysis and documents and charts SPC data collected from various production areas. For control purposes, the quality assurance group possesses the final say on the shipment of coated parts. No DACROMET® or GEOMET® part leaves the facility until quality assurance gives its approval.
As follow-up, treated parts undergo torque-tension testing as well as salt spray testing (ASTM B-117) to insure they meet the specification requirements.
