Michigan Metal Coatings applies all of their coating systems using the Dip-Spin coating process. To provide a properly cleaned part,  alkaline washing as well as shot peening processes are in place for use in removing oils, heat treat scale and surface rust prior to coating. No acids or electrolytic processes are used in any coating system, eliminating hydrogen embrittlement, which is commonly associated with some coating and plating procedures.
